Between Campiglio and Pinzolo there are 150 kilometres of runs, right in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites, since 2009 on the UNESCO heritage site list, perfectly served by fast and modern skilifts. The 2 localities have now been connected by the new Pinzolo-Campiglio Express cable car, from which you can admire breathtaking views. Skiers have an entire single ski-area to enjoy, that extends from the Val di Sole to Madonna di Campiglio, and that is distinguished not only by the superb efficiency of its lifts but also for the natural beauty of the area.

Expert skiers can enjoy themselves on the long steep runs, while the more adventurous can experience the thrill of off-piste, skiing over the unprepared areas that are often associated with ski mountaineering: an exciting discipline for those who like to ski away from the crowds and enjoy the beauty of uncontaminated areas.

There are plenty of ski schools and often the hotels have their own private instructors. It is possible to hire all the necessary equipment and essential safety protection. Depending on one’s level of skiing and physical condition, lessons of varying duration can be booked, during which the fundamentals of alpine skiing can be learned or elaborated on.

The local Alpine Guides organise specialised outings and excursions along little known paths and trails for more expert skiers, so that they can enjoy skiing and have fun at the same time.

All itineraries will naturally be based on the weather conditions and temperatures at the time and may vary accordingly. One of the principal suggestions that the instructors will offer is to always remain on the runs, and not to adventure into unknown areas where there may be danger. The schools also organise interesting and engaging activities for alpine ski lovers, such as night-time skiing: when organised evenings, that involve the use of ski lifts after hours are used, and it is possible to ski down the famous Canalone Miramonti, specially illuminated for the occasion, offering unique and unforgettable emotions.
